International Transportation & US Customs

This class is designed to contain valuable knowledge for all levels – beginners, as well as those with some experience in the field. This workshop takes an in-depth approach to training participants on the “must-haves” of global logistics, including ocean and air transportation components/processes, calculation of shipping costs, and import/export documentations, as well as classification and valuation of goods for U.S. Customs clearance. The skills developed in this workshop are aligned with positions such as import compliance specialist, ocean contract administrator, break bulk coordinator, and more. 

Classes will meet in real-time via zoom from 5:30pm - 8:30 pm. All participants will be required to utilize Canvas & Conferzoom.
