College Advancement & Economic Development (CAED) at Long Beach City College (LBCC) is dedicated to bridging the gap between fulfilling business needs for a qualified workforce and providing education and training, including skill sets relevant to jobs in the 21st century.

Programs and services include the following:

Workforce Development programs serve adult learners and post-secondary students by preparing them for employment in areas that require technicals skills, particularly in the fields of information technologies, transportation, and healthcare.

The Los Angeles Regional Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network serves small business owners and entrepreneurs, assisting with business operations, expansion, and start-ups via the SBDC Network and the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative at LBCC.

The Center for International Trade Development/International Trade Office provides businesses with the tools, knowledge, and expertise to expand and enter new global markets.

The Center for Training and Professional Development offers Basic Skills training, Customer Service Skills training, English Language Skills training, Communication Skills training, Job Skills assessments, and training for business professionals and supervisors to help them maintain the cutting-edge skills needed in today's competitive, fast-paced workplace.

REFUND POLICY:
All cancellations must be via email or telephone within 48 hours of the start of the seminar/workshop date. No refunds will be provided for a cancellation of a confirmed registration within the 48-hour period before the class start date. If you cancel and wish to enroll in a future seminar/workshop, you may transfer your paid fees to the future seminar/workshop.
